Trump mishandled the pandemic. Own it. He lied from the beginning about it and never stopped. He owns his lies and the recession. It was Trump who was in office when the economy went south.

Trump made mistakes with it. He didn't deliberately exploit it for political gain like the Dims continue to do this day, a mistake that trump's Trump tenfold. Any irony of it is they use the exploitation mostly to try to get rid of trump. Now it's the Dems who are about to become extinct as a political party they once were because of that very same devious political power playing.

And now even in the post-pandemic era they are pushing that in every state to become the norm because they know that it works.
