The organization for the million vet march that went down to the WWII memorial recently to show their displeasure with the actions of the government in a peaceful and non-partisan way, are furious and slamming the teabaggers for hijacking their event, even calling out Cruz and Palin by name for their cheap move to politicize the event.

I don't blame them as the teabaggers went completely apeshit like they already do, destroying government property, acting like animals, and one was arrest with a gun.

Million Vet March on the Memorials ?

I'm a Vet, Viet-Nam 1968, and I love the TEA PARTY but I love America too and that I don't think I ever heard our President say that.

That's because he doesn't love the tea party.

Why? Is it because it's made up of Americans and not just illegals wanting a quick path to citizenship?

He doesn't love the Tea Party or does he not love the country as founded? I'm voting for the latter. He has plenty of love for Occupy and the slimeballs in that group. He will suck a mile of dick for socialist policies. Yet he doesn't like the Tea Party? He doesn't like America.

Millions of veterans are trying to have their voices heard but you see it as a way to slime Obama. Fuck what the vets say, right. Your oppurtunity to be a foul mouthed jerk is more important. TP's don't like American. Seems nobody hates America the way the TP hates America. Veterans love America. TP silences and uses veterans. Just like you are doing.

UPDATED: Mon Oct 14, 2013 6:35 PM EST – The political agenda put forth by a local organizer in Washington DC was not in alignment with our message. We feel disheartened that some would seek to hijack the narrative for political gain. The core principle is about all Americans honoring Veterans in a peaceful and apolitical manner. Mr. Cruz, Ms. Palin and some attendees, including political parties may have not been aware of the goals of the marches which took place in over 60+ rallies across the nation

hmmm...looks like the Tea Baggers disgraced our Vets.

They did more than that. Palin, Cruz and the TP antics stole the headlines for their own political agenda. The efforts and work by vet's in over 60 cities were ignored and silenced. The message the veteran organizations wanted to publicize is being mostly ignored or given minumum national attention.

Yep, the teabaggers once again hijacked a movement and politicized it for their own gain. Absolutely disgusting.

I saw only a little of the march on TV but Palin and Cruz were there, on stage of course, and when Cruz said something derogatory about Obama I heard some cheering but the vets I saw on camera were not cheering. The cheers sounded as if they were from a younger group, not visible, and not the vets. I'd like to think those WWII vets knew they were being used.

I listed some of the groups that got stepped on and silenced in a thread I started today. Marine Corps League, Wounded Warriors, Purple Hearts, Irag/Afghanistan Vets, etc. Gold Star Wives for goodness sakes. What kind of people do that.

Could the Tea Party have gone too far?

Causing the 'Government shutdown'.
Pushing the country to default.
Fighting against healthcare reforms that will benefit almost everyone.
Stepping all over the veterans' march for blatant political theatre.
Pissing off the big moneyed corporations and political funders.

It's not a good look to thinking people.

Their voice is the Tea Party. So fuck you. The TP is all about America, just not the corrupted piece of shit version you want. Vets are the first to stand up against your version, the one they didn't fight for. The one version that sure as hell looks like communism you think they fought for?

Fuck you ****.

A government with easily 25% more people than we actually need.

A default that any sane person would see as needing to be paid off not added to.

Healthcare that is doubling or even worse all insurance costs, yet you seem to think is affordable.

The vets march was political, it's the entire reason they took over our monuments and moved the barrycades to the white house. You must have missed the reason they were there.

I don't give a shit about big corporations or political funders. The fact you do consider them is a serious indication you're an idiot.
