I'll believe it when someone actually puts it out for us to examine. And why haven't we reverse engineered their technology? We're still using primitive rockets

Common sense would dictate that there are other beings out there that are more advanced than the human race is but till Klattu shows-up to tell us the error of our ways I'm not going to sweat it one way or the other.
LOL.....Oh look, here we have some dweeb that thinks he has a real good bead on what's on the other side of the universe."Common sense" dictates no such thing.
Common sense dictates that PHYSICAL LIFE cannot even travel to our nearest neighbor star.
There is ILNO KNOWN LIFE ANYWHERE IN THE UNIVERSE
The burden is on the believers to prove their yheory
By far the most likely "extraterrestrial" we are likely to encounter will be robots. Machines on some errand from a long-dead race with nothing to say."Common sense" dictates no such thing.

Not as much as you would think. Even alien technology must follow the basic laws of physics. We have a pretty good grasp of physics for such a primitive race.As for "reverse engineering" a find, imagine Benjamin Franklin being given a modern laptop or cell phone. Even if it came with a handy solar power source, where would he - or any other scientist - begin? The differences in technology would be apt to be insurmountable.
There is a more advanced "species" out there. You just can't bring yourself to accept it.LOL.....Oh look, here we have some dweeb that thinks he has a real good bead on what's on the other side of the universe.
Jeez, I hope that there is a more advanced species out there somewhere or what would be the point of all those pretty galaxies?

Who is "he".There is a more advanced "species" out there. You just can't bring yourself to accept it.
He put the physical limits on the physical universe and it is impossible to travel even to the nearest star. To not understand this is to reject SCIENCE
Very doubtful proposition .Not as much as you would think. Even alien technology must follow the basic laws of physics. We have a pretty good grasp of physics for such a primitive race.
This is why I hate talking about this stuff in spite of being fascinated by it. Too many people have pushed so many junk science scenarios that it's like talking religion with some. Our astronomers can see most of the way back to the beginning of time and haven't seen anything that might suggest the laws of physics were ever different than what they are now. Same stars same galaxies same sequence of star formation no matter where we look.Very doubtful proposition .
There are other Universe breakdowns where our physics simply might not work and /or be entirely irrelevant . See Materium based on four dimensions versus Hyper space which might be based on a number of different dimensions yet exclude Time .
There are no Universe laws of physics that anybody has ever even hypothesised -- just laws which seem to work in this region where four dimensions seem to apply .
Growing up, we were exposed to "aliens." Plenty of hit movies about them, but afaik it's still Fermi Paradox. There is a more advanced "species" out there. You just can't bring yourself to accept it.
