If/when Trump and Republicans get back in Control there should be another J6 Committee to put all these folks under oath and find out exactly why there was no NG as requested by Trump and Sund for J6.

Again, not true. That letter had nothing to do with Trump's suggestion for 10,000 DCNG.

Bowser asked the Pentagon for several hundred Guard to be deployed for things like traffic control. The letter you're talking about was sent to the Pentagon days later to acknowledge she wasn't asking for any more.

False. The Speaker of the House is not responsible for Capitol security. Neither is the Senate Majority Leader. But each can provide direction to their respective Sergeant-at-Arms. Irving said he did not ask Pelosi about the National Guard and said it was his call to deny Sund's request.

“We have a responsibility Terry. We did not have any accountability on what was going on there, and we shoud have,” Pelosi said.
“You’re going to ask me — in the middle of the thing when they’ve already breached the inaugural stuff — ‘should we call … the National Guard?’” Pelosi incredulously asked her chief of staff, Terri McCullough, while being escorted to Fort McNair. “Why weren’t the National Guard there to begin with?”
