Having second thoughts about a candidate over another candidate in a decision of this magnitude does not mean one thinks his final selection is 'stupid'. Such 'logic' / a claim as was made is stupid.Seems Trump might believe it was dumb to nominate him...I still find it funny that nine months ago people like C_Clayton_Jones were saying Trump would "never" be the nominee.
Nobody took him seriously (I, frankly, still don't).
But, now they are all over him.
I was one of those who didn't believe the American people are dumb and self-loathing enough to nominate/vote.
Never ever underestimate the stupidity of the rabid right wing froot loop.
I am certainly no Trump fan.
But I don't believe it was dumb to nominate him. I fully understand how he represents a reaction by many.
Now, I am guessing you somehow think it was smart to nominate Hillary.
If you do, you are no less stupid than those you accuse on the right.
