Obama was last in a series of failed presidents going back to Clinton's 2nd term. It was the same scenario that led to the Civil War. His supposed popularity was a result of a fawning press and little more.
He had no crowning achievements outside of bin Laden amd so damned by faint praise. A truly popular president like Reagan and FDR hands down his successor to his party and wins his second term stronger than his first. Obama did no such thing.
The only thing that has really changed is the Republicans chances of taking the Senate have improved but it’s still a toss up the Republicans chances of taking back the House were always very good.
The Democrats have a better opportunity to steal the Senate elections. All they have to do is come up with a few boxes of fraudulent ballots in Philly and Atlanta and whamo, two stolen Senate seats, thank you very much. Other states also.
Worked great in 2020 to steal the Presidental election. The boxes are already to go.
Blue wave has fizzled... seemingly. Looks like a normal election with no red/blue waves. Looks like inflation is hurting democrats and being racist anti-freedom anti-democracy women hating totalitarians is hurting republicans.
The stolen election of 2020 is all the proof that America needs to know that the Democrats are scum.
They are going to try to do the same thing with the Senate races. We know they are. They already have the fraudulent ballots printed up and ready to go if the Republican is ahead.
Just for perspective for you hammerheads so you don’t move the goalposts.
“In the 22 midterm elections from 1934 -2018, the President's party has averaged a loss of 28 House seats and four Senate seats. The president’s party has gained seats in both houses only twice.”
That’s how high the bar is just to be an average election. In order to be a wave we’ll need to see something bigger than average.
The Senate is too close to call. The House was always gonna bounce back after 19 new gerrymandered seats were spun this election cycle in the spring.
The democrats have higher expectations after the Pubs nominated 2 historically bad candidates putting the Senate in play. We’ll see how they end up but know where the goalposts are located.
