MIDS harass Treasury Sec and chase him out of DC restaurant

A group of MIDS*, part of the obnoxious leftist group Code Pink, started screaming and harassing Sec Treasury Bessett, who was dining with a colleague in DC. The lead woman started ranting and raving, interfering with not only Bessett’s right to eat a meal in peace, but the other diners as well. Some other MID was making comments about Bessett being a “Queen” and walking like a gay person.

Points for discussion:

1) Was the restaurant owner correct in kowtowing to the MIDS, rather than siding with his civilized customers?

2) If Democrats are all about respecting minorities (except Jews), why did one of them start mocking Bessett for being a gay man.
