“Americans making less than $75,000 will be subject to 710,863 additional audits, according to the analysis”

Yep. Democrats voted no to getting the rich audited more for a reason. They’re out to crush the middle class. One can say just follow the tax laws. As Turbo Tax Timmy showed us, following tax laws is not easy. I was audited this year, they found nothing. But it took me over 4 months to get my $5K refund check.

And here’s the bonus with the IRS: if they make a decision against you you can challenge it - with the IRS being the arbitrator.

The very rich are already audited at a high rate. The fact that Trump is under audit is really standard operating procedure. Working on the Middle Class is who the IRS has to look at next.

And the icing on the cake is that this new army against the middle class will be PAID for by the middle class, via their taxes!

And, if we are to take a clue from how Lois Lerner used the IRS to go after conservatIve groups, I wouldn’t be surprised if topping the list are citizens who have donated to conservative candidates, are members of conservative groups, or have signed conservative petitions.

I am still waiting for every return that I have filed since 2017 to be processed and refunds issued, as well as all three stimulus checks.
Let them audit.
So they hire 87000 more agents. Based on the incompetent buffoons they already hired, nothing will change.

I think audits are just business as usual for Trump. He is continually being audited. Think of all the accountants that keeps employed.

Marx hated the middle class,
He called them the Petite Bourgeoisie.
In Left Wing economics the middle class are the slaves, and the Socialist Elites are the slave masters.

For an added fee when you purchase, Turbo Tax will represent you.
I’ll be doing that this time. I never have in the past, but it seems the Regime is zeroing in on its political opponents.

It is what Marco Rubio warmed us happens with dictatorial regimes. They first go after the leader who was defeated, and then they go after anyone who supported him.

That’s not analysis, it’s just making shit up.

The last few years I have filed short form, so I'm not too concerned.

Years ago when I wasn't making a lot of money, I stapled my W2 to a blank form, signed it and sent it in. Then I got my refund check. I never thought about an audit. I let the IRS do the taxes.

I'm not really worried about a mistake in my favor. Where besides in Monopoly has that ever happened. I'm worried about a mistake in their favor.
They made a mistake on my taxes. I got back $500.00. The mistake has to be in the figures. If I had been entitled to $50.00 and $500.00 was credited, I would have to give it back. Since it was an error in calculation and I was innocent i got to keep the money.
