Now a resident of a Red state! Hallelujah!
The FBI and the DOJ (and yes, of course, our feeble old President) have utilized the incredible power of government in a political way and in an insidious way.

The trouble is, it’s not all that new. Just consider this old case.

Youngstown Sheet & Tube Co. v. Sawyer, 343 U.S. 579 (1952).

President Truman had ordered the Secy. of Commerce to “seize” the Steel mills. Yes, naturally, there were some seemingly good reasons for it. But the reasons to employ government power (no matter how reasonable) don’t necessarily equate with VALID legal authority to do so.

What recent instances of the government being weaponized for purely partisan political purposes come to mind? 🤔
