Michigan has 500,000 more registered voters than eligible voters

Michigan doesn’t appear to do purges, they just update their voter rolls when a persons information changes, yet, we see that doesn’t work, because their rolls are inflated by 500,000 (I saw another article that said 625,000)

And I’m not just taking only in Michigan, but in other states. How many other states have inflated voter rolls?
My county alone (Los Angeles) had 1.5 million bogus registrations.

This is due to an outdated voter roll that needs to be purged.

Is this not a problem? Is this not a reason to purge voter rolls periodically?
It says that is NOT the case, they are simply inactive voters.... In Michigan's system???

THE FACTS: This is missing context. While the state does have more total voter registrations than eligible voters, that number includes voters who are inactive but cannot yet be removed from voter rolls under federal and state laws. The number of active voters is far less than those who are eligible to vote, and experts say there is no reason to believe that widespread fraud will result
.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

They are purged periodically.
In accordance with the laws......both state and federal....which lay out the protocols for purging.
Any clerk or even Secretary of State who purges in a manner not proscribed by law faces criminal charges.

If one wishes to encourage more prompt purging.....then write or call your state reps/senators in your State House. AND.....call your US Congressman and your US Senator. Tell 'em all what you think.

Squeaky Wheels get .....well, they get noticed.
They are removed as active voters and put as INACTIVE voters...until they can be legally removed under federal and Michigan law.
It's not purging, it's updating, or god forbid, keeping current.
They are updated, that's why there are 1.2 million in inactive voters...

Did you even READ the article link? Yes or no?

Which thread about Voter Fraud would you have preferred?
OP never mentioned voter fraud, Simp.

And this thread is about Michigan, learn to read.

And Georgia today is not the Georgia of 2020.

HAVV shows 139,750 "non-matches" in GA for 2024. Those are registrations that have no State ID, they are sent to HAVV to check for SS#.

(There were about 180K of those in the second half of July 2019)

Raffy has been under fire in GA for 4 years, and multiple suits from VoterGA. Maybe he finally has the rolls cleaned up. If he is telling the truth, it means those 139,750 were not allowed to register.

They're a group of charlatans trying to piggyback on the publicity of Trump's lies. They are not to be taken seriously.
You obviously don't know who they are.

Favorito has been doing this in GA for more than 2 decades. He founded VoterGA about 18 years ago to challenge the old Diebold machines that were used in the 2000 election.

Everything he has ever done is about election integrity and auditability.

You obviously don't know who they are.
I obviously do. They are now a group of charlatans piggybacking off of the lies of Trump and his cult.

They are a group of opportunistic charlatans founded by a conspiracy nutter, and they push misinformation. They are not and should not be taken seriously, by any serious person.

You are an idiot. Favorito is about as far away from a conspiracy theorist as you can get. He's one of the top experts in voting machines in GA.

He rarely interviews. He is an attorney and he works through the courts, not the media.

This is hilariously wrong.

You really should go read up before commenting again. You're embarrassing yourself.
I have no interest in the opinions of left wing journos. I read his court cases, that's all I need to know.

It's not an opinion. It's his own words. Anyone who knows them and disagrees with me is simply a conspiracy nutsack himself.
