We were taught that voting was a privilege, not a right, therefore, it was incumbent on us to make sure of a couple of things....

1. make sure that our registration was current.

2. that if we move we must make sure we can vote in the place where we move to....

I cannot speak to why the Dems to anything. For me the Govt should always err on the side of the voter and not remove people unless it is certain they are no longer eligible.

That's easy to settle...Send a notice that the name will be removed from the voter roles, and give the remedies if it's in error...It's super easy to take care of...

I believe that the VA courts already ruled similar to what your wishes are...In MI, there seems to be a great deal of people that are erroneously still on the roles. It's a dem run state. Why wasn't this corrected before now?
