It is an enormous problem, and no one knows what to do about it. Not only do they cut their throats while alive and toss them, they also skin endless numbers of dogs and animals alive and throw them on a pile to squirm their ways to death. You would have to have a heart of stone not to care.

Being a dog lover, I share my life with four of em, I certainly don't kill dogs and cats for entertainment and I don't know anyone who does.

America is full of people who neglect and abuse dogs and cats though.

I'm sure our slaughter houses in the US do a pretty shitty job of killing cattle, pigs, sheep and chickens as well.

For me its not so much that they eat dogs and cats because they have been eating dogs and cats over there for thousands of years. For me its the way they kill them. Talk about cruel and inhumane.

But thats just me. Someone else might have a different view of it than I do.

When my brother was in Viet Nam he said you could always tell when they were cooking dog because it stinks.

Dogs are carnivors and I'm sure they would taste different than a cow or pig.

Our slaughter houses probably could provide a few horror stories. They have gotten better over the years but I'll bet loads of abuse still goes on though.

False. The first dog I had when I was a kid was put down at the vet's. I didn't have the stomach then to go in and be with Harley, but instead a friend of mine did go in. Molly, the last dog I had euthanized died in less than a second from the time she was injected. She dropped straight down and did not suffer at all. Stray dogs in animal shelters are gassed to death in the U.S., which is also a very cruel way to die. Not as bad as the Chinese methods.

To get the furs from them, they have to kill them first and then take the fur. It would not make ANY difference as the quality of the fur. But no. It would only add a few pennies to the cost of the fur to inject the animals humanely like was done with Molly. They have a long ways to go to get there, of course, since we do not even do that in the U.S. Michele should speak up and do something about this crime against nature. It must be stopped.
