I can't imagine a wife with a different political philosophy. My youngest daughter is a Sanders nut and she has a problem communicating about politics. Judges anyone who leans right.

I'm single and not dating, but if I were married, I think it would be great to have a wife that was interested in politics on any level. Many women don't like politics. In fact I can't recall any girlfriend I had that held a more than generic position on policies that they were aware of.

It actually is great. My wife and I have parallel views with a few minor differences. We discuss the issues daily. We are independents than lean towards conservative, but don't align with the GOP. She voted Trump and views this whole Kavanaugh allegation as nothing but a pathetic delay tactic. She couldn't stand Hillary. As an 8 year veteran she finds most democrats repulsive.
I got lucky to find a gal with similar views who also snowmobiles, enjoys roughing it outdoors, shooting guns, and riding motorcycles.

Sounds like she's giving you a happy life. I only knew one girl that was heavy into politics, and she was with somebody else at the time. She leaned very left, but our debates were enjoyable. Too bad she had a policy of never dating friends.

f the Republicans fail to confirm Kavanaugh, the first instinct, which is legitimate and fair....is to punish the republicans by not voting in November. This would be a mistake....the first, the prime the most important thing to do...... punish every single democrat by voting them out of power..... this is the best way to revenge Kavanaugh, and it keeps the Senate in our hands...on the chance ginsburg dies or retires.....we may have more Senators next time around to try again... I don't think it has to do with Republicans voting Democrat instead of Republican, it has to do with getting them out to vote in the first place.

When voters feel defeated, they simply give up. It's not worth their time to vote because at some point, it doesn't matter (to them) who gets in because no matter who wins, we will still do things the Democrat way.
