When your "base" can't discern the difference between reality and spectacular hyperbole, you can manipulate them in any way you want to. They won't even care. You know that you can say ANYTHING and they'll get themselves to believe it.

Case in point: Kari Lake is being sued for defamation by Maricopa County Recorder Steven Richter, who (along with his family) has received endless threats (including execution) for not going along with her "rhetorical hyperbole".

Who knows, maybe she'll be able to prove all these allegations, the allegations that have completely failed so far. And maybe she's providing a service in the long run, demonstrating how dangerous lies and malice can be.

This is not a legal proceeding based on freedom of speech. The "law" is not trying to shut down her malicious words and behaviors. Malice really is a thing in a lawsuit, though. Always has been. True story.

To note, I believe Trump could have won a suit with the Democrats over the entire "Russia" thing also. Some Republicans have gone full bore crazy but the Democrats have done similar.

The problem is Trump is incapable of an attention span that would have allowed him to follow through with something like this.

Lake is going to lose.

Also to note, this judge was initially appointed by Gov Brewer (R).

Stuff like this really escalates, as both ends of the spectrum take it to the next level.

The problem comes when a person takes hyperbole literally. They don't understand that hyperbole essentially is used as one-sided rhetoric. Then they take RIDICULOUS hyperbole literally. That's when they go off the edge into some kind of non-reality.

Case in point:

I never spoke to Hunter about his business dealings™

I was at ground zero the day after 9/11™

I had the great honor of being arrested with our UN ambassador on the streets of Soweto trying to get to see him on Robbens [sic] Island.”™

Why does Trump and Russian collision come to mind? Different rules for the D Party
Quite right. When Trump was investigated and no collusion was found, the Dems dropped the subject. The GOP will not drop their election denials no matter how many investigations fail to uncover fraud.

Whom would he sue for what?

Be up to his lawyers if he had any left. What they did is no different than what Lake is getting sued over.

LOL dems STILL claim there was collusion today.

The Dems / Socialists can’t let it go. Remarkably, you can't sell your house while hiding material defects or sell securities by making false representations. The Dems / Socialists, however, were entirely sold on the idea of stealing an election by hiding behind lies and falsehoods about ‘Russia collusion’ and making false representations in a FISA document to a court.

This morning I woke up and i turned on the TV. At the time FOX was on Christmas stories. CNN and MSNBC had Trump stories. Just saying. Christmas day. Christmas morning. Propaganda. Pravda. 7 days a week. 24 hours a day. And FOX is not conservative. It has its shills, and it has its sills who activate for certain issues.

I never would argue otherwise.
