That analogy has nothing to do with what I said. What you're saying is that if a dead guy wasn't stabbed but someone is caught over him with a knife then he's guilty of stabbing the guy to death.

No, the analogy is that if someone is found standing with a knife over a dead man's body it is reasonable to investigate and see if the dead man was stabbed or not. That is what Muller did.
There was no dead body to investigate. In any case, if you look at this through a bigger lens Trump wasn't really the target of the Mueller Report. He was just a sacrificial pawn. The real target was Russia. Russia has been the main target of American foreign policy since the end of WWII. That didn't stop after the fall of communism. The only real foreign policy difference Trump has with the Establishment is that he wants to have good relations with Russia in order to oppose China whereas the Establishment wants good relations with China in order to oppose Russia.
Like in the Olympics, every country is our competitor seeking an advantage. China seeks economic advantage, Russia seeks political/ideological advantage.
