Columbia coffee and drug cartels are fascists....they run things there and have for decades.

The past two years have been increasingly unstable for Columbia...they have had severe issues even shipping coffee because of the unrest. Roads to the ports have been extensively blocked.
The deaths of unarmed civilians by police during protests has really energized the population to do something for change...any change than the status quo.

So...if the fascists lose control of their control over the coffee industry and the drug lords start having to run and hide...it's not exactly a bad thing. Both have been using conscripted labor.

And that's been the problem all along. The people have been used and abused by wealthy elites and abandoned by a weak government serving their own self interests.

When people can't have their gourmet coffee and are stuck drinking the crap coming from Vietnam....we will probably see a change.
