Magneto wasn't a hippie, but he certainly had a lot to say about populism-oriented folk artistry (e.g., consumerism toys). Magneto wanted to endorse the Minnesota Vikings (NFL) after they seriously challenged the likes of NFC powerhouses (i.e., Eagles, Saints, Rams) in Season 52 before losing to the Eagles (who eventually won the Super Bowl!) in the NFC Championship game. Magneto was pure evil. He wanted to manipulate toys.
Fortunately, Green Lantern arrived in time to save the day. He was a visitor from a distant planet which contained magical light power resembling bioluminescence (fireflies) in the bodies of the inhabitants of the planet. Green Lantern distributed specially-made neon clear green compact cassettes across America to endorse the victory of the green-uniform colored Philadelphia Eagles (NFL) in Super Bowl 52, which Green Lantern believed was the greatest underdog defeat in sports history in the opinion of a few Philly-fanatics. Green Lantern reminded everyone that toys represented capitalism friendship, not corporate brainwashing.
Was the world worth fighting for, or would everything turn to ashes? It was all about eco-pollution, for despite all the halls and scrolls and creative metaphysics stories about the mental 'enchantment' with magic and fantasy-adventure regarding the artistic value of mercantilism in a capitalism-dominant world, ultimately without proper care of Earth's natural climate and farming systems there would never be any real progress towards the cessation of any and all forms of anti-globalization terrorism (i.e., ISIS). Science-fiction and comic book writers focused on the apocalypto-paranoia of subconscious-predator filled 'dark cities' where uniform avarice and self-destruction have replaced work-prayers and sustainable living.
That's why Greenpeace is the supreme international symbol of eco-oriented political reform. In the modern system, we can experiment with the 'scope' of network-driven negotiations (i.e., United Nations, Wall Street). If anti-Western terrorism is ever ever to cease, civilization-dreamers will have to coordinate industry with environmentalism-focused society hygiene (e.g., recycling plastic water bottles). This will be the mission of U.S. President Donald Trump and America's trading-partners in this newly-emerged commerce-economy. South Korea, Australia, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Russia, Argentina, Spain (etc.). Eco-pollution has to be an enduring paranoia.
