I supported McCain in 2000 when he ran against Bush. He was more of a Maverick then. By 2008 he had lost a bit off his fastball and was selling out to gain the nomination

Dem/liberals on this board and elsewhere want to express condolences on his passing I am fine with that. But we all remember 10 years ago McCain was the incarnate of evil running against Obama.
