Epstein knew Donald did not have the funds to outbid him for the Mansion, and figured out that Trump bought it out from under him as a money laundering scheme for a Russian Oligarch who paid Trump to buy it. The Oligarch billionaire was going through a nasty divorce and was trying to hide his money from the wife so she could not get her half...her husband did it by buying property in the USA...Trump was his straw buyer, then he paid Trump double, when he got title two years later under an LLC....Somehow, his wife's sleuths found out he owned the property and it was exposed in the public divorce trial....in Switzerland.
Anyway, allegedly Epstein figured it out and threatened to sue Donald, threaten to also go to authorities to report the straw buying, money laundering scheme with the Oligarchs.
Michael Wolff, both a Trump and Epstein biographer, published a book on Trump and mentioned the possible Trump money laundering in the book. Epstein was in Paris when the book first dropped and called Wolff and was upset, and told Wolff, "I told you too much! Wish you hadn't printed that!"
3 weeks later, Epstein returned from Paris and when his plane landed, he was immediately arrested by the Trump DOJ and Epstein was DEAD a month or so, later.
