what, no mention of an arrogant jacka** of an owner?
Get ready for the Las Vegas Mavericks. That is what this is all aboutThe Mavs could have got WAYYYYYY more if they had announced he was on the market and shipped him around.
This trade makes no sense, it’s shocking
Yea, just imagine if LeBron gets through to him, the amount of money he spends yearly to remain in peak physical condition is hard to argue against, judging by the way he plays.I guess Doncic waddling around the court at 260 pounds this year was the last straw. I didn't realize he had gotten that fat.
Offensively it will be a dream for the Lakers, I just wonder what sort of defensive liability Luka will be.Yea, just imagine if LeBron gets through to him, the amount of money he spends yearly to remain in peak physical condition is hard to argue against, judging by the way he plays.
I have a take on the situation it might not be right but I think it might be... Viewership is down considerably around the league, the Lakers are a marquee franchise they can build big time around Luka as he appeals not just In The states but in international circles as well and Lebron is reaching the end of his career.what, no mention of an arrogant jacka** of an owner?
alot of people think LA is coddled by the league for the reasons you mention, there's always suspicions, especially when they go directly to LA without hearing any other offers.I have a take on the situation it might not be right but I think it might be... It is a win win for the league Dallas probably didn’t want to pay Luka the max which would have been something like 70 million a season and LA doesn’t have too because Luka will have to settle for far less going to another team... Maybe the owners wanted to make him an example to the other players and bring salaries down at the same time.... it is a really interesting situation which also brings added excitement and publicity as well...
he'll fit in nicely, the whole team plays no defense especially more so with AD gone.Offensively it will be a dream for the Lakers, I just wonder what sort of defensive liability Luka will be.
Looks like they figured it out!Yea, just imagine if LeBron gets through to him, the amount of money he spends yearly to remain in peak physical condition is hard to argue against, judging by the way he plays.
10-2 since he's arrived. Kyrie, and possibly Davis, done for the season.I think the Lakers are gelling quite nicely with Luka. His acquisition surely increases their chances of winning a championship.
Unfortunately, the Mav's have experienced some setbacks recently, and with Irving's torn ACL, their season is in the shitter, through no fault of their own.
Yeah noticed, but most players even Maxey will have a 4th or 5th off day, even glass knees would have the occassional low scoring night and PG has had them way too frequently=PG's inconsistency is why they had a bad season. Which brings us too putting together a roster that's got consistent effort and stability in the stat line. Guys getting 20 pts are great, but not if they hog the ball and take too many bad shots. So in forming the team with terrible defense and high volume shooter hogs and inconsistency does not make for a winning formula.Funny you mention Grimes, the guy had recently gone off for the Sixers, over 30 one night against GS and two games later 44 against Utah so I bet him to go over against the Celtics the other night and of course he did nothing all game.
