Unless he meant to come off like he is a presidential puppet hiding something his appearance before the committee was a fail.

What question and answer would suggest he was hiding something? Was it his unwilling to comment on an ongoing investigation? If that’s the case then Rod Rosinstine is a trump puppet, as is Comey and the rest.

No it was his total disrespect for the members of the House. It was his glib smart ass remarks about serious matters. Whittaker is skating seriously thin ice with the FBI investigating his former company for fraud. He didn't have much of a reputation coming in.

Whitaker did not take shit from the Democrats, called them on their BS, and held them to the promises they made / things they agreed to. He knows he has nothing to hide and does not give a damn about the political theater they were trying to put on.

He had a helluva reputation coming in as one of the really objective ones, which is why the anti-Trumpers are attacking him so much.

The only US AG the Demos will like is another criminal member of the Anti-Trump 'brat pack', which Whitaker is NOT.
