Of course, they were shocked. The losing side in a war has never been prosecuted before or since.
War Crime trials are the winners punishing the losers.
The President always had immunity from criminal prosecution during his official acts. What was wild that never before in the history of the United States did it have to be litigated like that because we never had demafacsist weaponizing their office against a former President
No freebee.......................a president should have been entitled to immunity regarding actions as president. He has no immunity from criminal actions outside of His normal presidential job functions..............and you know it.
Congress also has had limited immunity.......

I don't know if there is an order the nominations must follow to be approved, but if there is, Trump should place this as the last one to be voted on.
Based on what I have heard, from Jim Jordan and others, this nomination would definitely confirm that Trumps MAGA is pushing the old, entrenched Establishment out and replacing them with nominations of people who will protect the U.S Constitution and the U.S voters who demanded this change. If not, it may put into question his ability to control it all.
As one person said "the voters are watching. Will they get what they demanded?"
