Later he served as chief legal counsel for for US Senate. Unlike Gaetz, RFK never had his law licenses suspended nor was he ever investigated for sex trafficking's or any other crime.

Unlike today, most often political appointees were hired, not just because of their pollical loyalties but because because they were uniquely qualified for the job by their knowledge and experience in their field.
