On the way to the Dark Tower.
Matt Damon and the Arab oil industry team up to stop fracking

It seems like Matt Damon's new anti-fracking film, "Promised Land" has some secret financers behind it. These financers would love nothing more than to stop fracking in its tracks. Why, you ask? Well because these financers are actually part of Abu Dhabi, an Arab oil emirate.
Supporting the anti-fracking movie is just their way of silencing the competition - American oil and gas producers.
Not only does Image Nation Abu Dhabi finance the "Promise Land," but the Abu Dhabi government owns the media company that subsidizes Image Nation.
The film's Abu Dhabi connection is significant, because the UAE is the world's third largest oil exporter, according to 2011 figures from the U.S. Energy Information Agency. The country also holds the 7th largest proven reserves of crude oil and natural gas in the world. The UAE was ranked 17th in the world in natural gas production in 2010, according to EIA. Matt Damon's financers are using his movie to demean fracking. These financers hope that negative public opinion will put an end to their competition. However, one problem with such a plan is that basing something on a lie always comes back to bite you where it hurts the most.

Oops.

You would think the Hollywood elitist would cheer on natural gas, since its the SOLE reason the US has cut down their carbon footprint so much! Yet the Elitist are only happy with wind and solar!

Correction: They're happy with wind and solar for everybody else.

Ain't no wind-powered private jets.

Fracking's ok by me...as long at it's in Texas.

The more the better.

Just another NIMBY liberal. Ted Kennedy's ghost is applauding you.

Is that what you think, Davey? That it's about NIMBY?

:lmao:
Of course it is. You don't mind taking advantage of domestically-produced energy -- you just don't want it produced in your backyard.

That and a good dose of irrational hatred for Texans.

And you have proof that this is a NIMBY issue, Davey? Provide it right now.

Okay, then, it's just your irrational hated for Texans.

The technology does not yet exist completely to keep the environment clean when producing oil, when it does then I would say, yes lets start frackin, as for now, let the Arab vermin drill and produce for the United States for pennies on the dollar, and when the time comes and its too late to clean up there mess they made, they can drown in there own filth.
