I know. True. I have had to make many difficult decisions in my life and I've come to the conclusion that doing nothing has its merits ..... until the air goes stale. Then doing something is the only way to find a solution to the problem because the problem itself changes, from a deadlock to something else. I have a very strong feeling that Russia has come to that point.

Of course the crazy psychopaths in DC running the Empire, would like nothing better than their made up enemies doing something they can use to incite the public into supporting yet another war.

.... exactly. So doing something should be well planned-out and I think the Russians (not only Putin) are better at planning than the West. I don't think Russian strategy is equaled anywhere else in the world.

Both know full well the pathological nature of the empire. I tend to think both are trying to avoid confrontation with the empire, because they know how dangerous it is and particularly so with the unstable Trump in power.
