I volunteered for the Air Force during the Vietnam War. I had learned I was going to be drafted the next month.

We lost 58,000 lives fighting a war that I feel we really were not interested in winning. The military industrial complex made a lot of money and that may have been the goal. Still the war caused a lot of social problems that I feel still haunt us today.

The virus showing up in people with underlying conditions is a serious problem I do think. They don't need the complication from something that creates severe pnemonia in the lungs on top of what they do already have. Trump knows the virus is real, and it is definitely a problem. Wearing mask might help some, but the best bet is the social distancing, and having clean open air to breathe or having proper air circulation in buildings and in rooms. We have so many who have underlying conditions, and yet we aren't affectively protecting them as being the most vulnerable amongst us in society. The retirement age should have been adjusted to get 60 year olds out of the firing lines, otherwise if they have underlying conditions.

Funny how the government gave billion's to the nation's citizen's for whom weren't the vulnerable in society, and then the vulnerable (above 60 years old), were left in vulnerable positions to easily contact the thing, and then most likely to die from it.

The incompetance is off the chain when it comes to government actions concerning the proper handling of this thing. Trump relies on all of government to give him the information and recommendations to apply in a situation. He is just the CEO, but he relies on his underling's throughout all of government to do the right thing. The deep state playing dirty politics with the American's lives because of Trump being president (they hate him, and therefore focus on undermining him), is unforgivable.
