You don't get it. Trump knows, I know, almost every conservative knows (I'm a registered Independent BTW), that there is no such thing as negotiation with radical Muslims. You don't neotiate with terrorists. You fight them & eliminate them. They are hardline rooted in the Koran, which they insanely believe to be the word of Allah (God), ordering them to conquer (the legacy of Mohammad), and make the whole world Islamic (the global caliphate). Anything less (they believe) dooms them to eternal death.

So they will never give up the fight, and in today's world, the only way they can do it, is with nuclear weapons. They have no other cards. Their air force & navy are gone. Their missle stock is depleted.
Militarily, they are a joke, and their economy is disappearing right before their eyes. One strike by Trump on Kharg Island, and it is gone entirely.

What I wrote in Post # 4 is what's happening. The IRGC is about as far from defeating Trump as we are from Pluto.

If you are referring to Midnight Hammer, that destroyed and buried thousands of centrifuges and ~460 kg of enriched uranium. I believe that Iran is trying to dig down to the centrifuges to recover the enriched uranium if it can be recovered and wasn't incinerated by the blasts.

Meanwhile back in reality...the war that was supposed to be over by late March is still going on in early May. With no end in sight.

Wars run on their own schedule. Epic Fury ended when 14,000 targets were destroyed, 6-8 weeks I believe was the original estimated timeline, and late April was 8-weeks. It ends when it ends.
The slower blockade is better than body-bags and quicker isn't it?

In World War 2, Americans were rationed to 4 gallons of gas a week. People on west coast had to go dark at night for 3 years.
