Trump went to Kentucky to campaign against Thomas Massie yesterday. Today, the betting market shows that Massie’s odds of winning jumped from about 53% to 66% after the rally.
The United States is a long way to become conservative. It has to stop the movement leftward first. And that has not happened. He is in the congress, so he knows who the Republicans front to the voters and knows the rules of each congressional district and state to get them elected. So, his anger should be directed towards all of that. Murkowski an example.
I think people like Massie and Rand Paul bring valid points of view to congress. While sometimes people don't aways agree with them, they sometimes don't agree with Trump either. But let me point out that Massie and Paul are not the problem in congress, the dumocraps are. The entire GOP should completely ignore the dumocraps and then thoroughly debate the issues among themselves only. When they come to a final compromise then they should support that compromise in the same way the dumocraps support their decisions. It's time for the GOP to stop letting the dumocraps control congress when they are in the minority. The people gave the republicans a majority for a reason: They want them to lead the country. The United States is a long way to become conservative. It has to stop the movement leftward first. Interesting. It looks like maybe all the shitstains who hate Massie so much are actually hypocritical, lying motherfuckers. Imagine that!

That's a really shitty way to govern. Granted, it's SOP, for both parties, but it's the single biggest dysfunction of the republic.I think people like Massie and Rand Paul bring valid points of view to congress. I have a crude idea that I haven't hashed out very well yet, but it goes something like this. Make national political parties illegal. Then create as many independent state parties as we can. Each state then sends it representatives to congress as usual. But for the general election, the 50 states each produce their presidential candidates by a primary, and then those 50 candidates face off in a national primary. The top 10 do a national runoff. Most importantly, we must push a lot of the decision making down to the individual states, stuff like abortion. In this way the state representatives should be more inclined to work for their state's interests instead of a national party. And no single party will ever dominate national politics. I'm sure it will have to be tweaked but it does make more sense to me than just two national parties. That's a really shitty way to govern. I like where you're going - but I don't see how we can outlaw parties without seriously damaging free speech.I have a crude idea that I haven't hashed out very well yet, but it goes something like this. The two parties and the entire federal government would block it long before it ever became a free speech problem. It's the same reason why today we only have two dominant national parties that represent the interests of the parties and their benefactors instead of the people. We can spend the whole day thinking outside of the box and even outside of the room that box is on, but at the end of the day what we have now is the best we will ever be allowed to have. That's why we have to stop fighting outsiders of the political system whenever they manage to get inside. We have to encourage them turn over the apple cart.I like where you're going - but I don't see how we can outlaw parties without seriously damaging free speech.
That's where you lose. I know people who support Trump out of nihilism. They see the situation as hopeless and think burning it all down is better than trying to fix it. I'm not there yet. Largely because it won't work. If we tear down our nation, others (China, Russia, etc ...) will eagerly fill the void. That's why we have to stop fighting outsiders of the political system whenever they manage to get inside. Things are never black or white, and there are infinite shades of grey. Trump does not want to burn down the country, nor do his voters, please stop listening to Rachel Maddow. They want the status quo upset and the establishment weakened to force the politicians to focus on the people, not the swamp money. I can guarantee you that there will never be any more Trumps who are outsiders because no one would ever want to go through what Trump has endured. That includes political outsiders on the left, where they are desperately needed. The dumocraps' reaction to Trump made reconciliation impossible for a long time, and I think the GOP will be the dominant party for a long time. This is a classic example of short term thinking completely ******* up the long term future. That's where you lose. I know people who support Trump out of nihilism.
