How it must suck being a Trump loyalist. You have to bash people like Massie who are exactly what Trump said he was going to be during the campaign.
You have to overlook and somewhat defend the over spending, warrantless spying on Americans, regime change wars, Epstein files, the socialism, and all the left leaning BS that comes with supporting Trump.
You have to dodge and spin things that you know are right, to defend things you also know is wrong. Because defending that crap is more important.
You have to sometimes end relationships with family and friends. You have to oppose people you used to agree with on political matters just because they had the common sense and the backbone to admit they were duped.
It must be like chewing on old beef jerky. Chew and chew and chew for years, just so you can swallow it.
If Trump had not flip flopped so much, you Trump supporters (and us Massie supporters) could be bragging about all the DOGE cuts that were codified. No new wars. Trade deals with countries like Venezuela and Iran. The massive spending cuts. Ending the fraud and abuse that comes from our welfare system. Cheap gas & groceries. And so many other actual conservative actions that would Make America Great Again.
But because Trump doesn't lean right, nor most of the GOP in congress, we have none of that. We have the opposite of that.
