Ro Khanna Says Top Trump Officials Could Face Impeachment Over Epstein Files Fiasco

I can't agree with this. Bondi messed this up royally with her comments and that silly binders of nothing stunt.

She seems like she's in over her head to me sometimes.
I concur. I've seen a whole lot worse. But she does seem a little over her skis sometimes.

He remarried already????

WHOA.
That IS weird. Something goin' on there. :uhoh3:
I don't know. She was a staffer for Rand Paul at one time, they knew each other for 10 years prior to marrying.

🤔

Why would they have not released guilty info or photos of Trump when they encountered this?
I hear this question from lots of folks that love Trump and MAGA a lot.

It seems quite self evident to me.

If there is more in that evidence that would implicate more folks on the left than the right, it is obvious why they would not. On top of that, folks that really understand how the system works, understand that the most powerful folks that run society, and don't care about partisan issue much, those who might be implicated and donate to and run both parties, may be the one most at risk.

It is like asking why the Soviets didn't nuke the U.S. when they had the chance.

Ro is a phony, always trying to come across as the voice of reason. Dumb people fall for it, even going so far as to project him as a Presidential candidate. No wonder this country is struggling to regain our greatness.

Why not pull out the Trump photos or info without exposing any of your own? They could have easily done that.

Instead they did nothing. It makes no sense.

I think it was Trump who may have alerted authorities before Epstein's first arrest. I wonder if that is being redacted, too.

Good question. I suppose they thought that the issue would just go away. To do that might just raise suspicions, as there are many who DO KNOW what are in those files (on both sides of the political spectrum,) . . . BEFORE any redactions.

Did you listen to the Massie video he released about the law the day before the law was supposed to go into affect on the nature of redactions? This IS precisely what this impeachment controversy is now all about. Those who DO know what is in them are now saying much is being redacted to save the hide of politically and economically powerful, not having one jot to do with victims or national security.

The memes on that same topic are unending today.

‘Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) said during multiple TV appearances Friday that he and Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) are pondering impeachment charges against Attorney General Pam Bondi, citing the newly released but heavily redacted Justice Department files on the late accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

“Thomas Massie and I talked about it,” Khanna told “The Source” host Kaitlan Collins. “He’s working, as am I, on drafting articles of impeachment and inherent contempt. We haven’t decided whether to move it forward yet, but we’re in the process of doing it.”

“The problem that the attorney general has, if you just look at the comments to our social media feed, is the amount of MAGA influencers who are upset with her,” he continued. “The issue for her is not, ‘Are there gonna be 212 Democrats who would support it?’”

Khanna and Massie, who both serve on the House Oversight Committee, co-sponsored the Epstein Files Transparency Act and garnered enough bipartisan support to compel the Justice Department to release any remaining files within 30 days. The DOJ appeared to meet the Dec. 19 deadline, only to release a fraction of the documents — many heavily redacted.’

Trump and his corrupt officials should be removed from office via the impeachment process for scores of crimes and misconduct, this being the most recent example.

This won’t happen, of course, because Congressional Republicans are just as corrupt and dishonest.

The problem is that the Founders didn’t foresee the impeachment process being so corrupted and rendered useless by Republican blind partisanism.

Good luck with that.

Ro Kahnna could face a criminal indictment for trying to overthrow the government.

So that what Ro says. Hm.

How unimportant.

Again, like the earlier Trump presidency, Democrats are trying to overthrow the government.

The question that should be asked is, "what is the objective of this release and how are you going to go after these men?"

It seems clear to me that it is political. There was no interest when the Dems were in power. Trump needs to stop being defensive about it and just state that details aren't always as they seem.
Democrats are no more interested in revealing all of Epstein's sins than Republicans because elites in both parties have been involved since the 1990s:

https://www.groundxero.in/2025/07/12/trump-epstein-and-the-deep-state/

"The Epstein case is important because it implodes the fiction of deep divisions between Democrats, who had no more interest in releasing the Epstein files than Trump, and the Republicans.

"They belong to the same club.

"It exposes how the courts and law enforcement agencies collude to shield powerful figures who engage in crimes.

"It lays bare the depravity of our exhibitionist ruling class, accountable to no one, free to violate, plunder, loot and prey on the weak and the vulnerable.

"It is the tawdry record of our oligarchic masters, those who lack the capacity for shame or guilt, whether dressed up as Donald Trump or Joe Biden."

Imho, Trump was born into the US ruling class of parasites, and he was friends with Epstein for 15 years. His abuse of women is well-known, and that makes him an ideal blackmail victim.

"As (Julie) Brown writes, in 2016 an anonymous woman, using the pseudonym 'Kate Johnson,' filed a civil complaint in a federal court in California alleging she was raped by Trump and Epstein when she was thirteen, over a four-month period, from June to September 1994.

"'I loudly pleaded with Trump to stop,' she said in the lawsuit about being raped. 'Trump responded to my pleas by violently striking me in the face with his open hand and screaming that he could do whatever he wanted.'"

Any idea about the veracity of this as her30 years later remembrance has long ago been kicked to the curb?
