Mass Firings will begin in a day or two...

Democrats don’t control the government. That’s another MAGA lie.
All they had to do was end the filibuster.

That’s all. Then it could have passed with just Republican votes. But they chose not too because it takes 60 votes to break a filibuster.

It’s simple ******* math.

GOP had given the money away in there Big Beautiful Bill to Rich folks...
Fake news. Returning Americans THEIR OWN ******* MONEY is not giving it away. You're a dunce for even trying to sneak that bullshit in here.

Trump attitude is to give rich tax cuts and then have no money for Healthcare for working people...
...working people... illegal aliens.

Then you say that Democrats should find the money from somewhere else...

If you want illegals, your state can pay for them out of your state taxes... no one is stopping you. Feel free.

Right so, how about cutting ICE funding...
**** that. ICE is funded throughout the shutdown, they are essential.

Democrats have the power to stall votes. They don't need control.

Math is racist. Ask a Democrat.

44 Democrats voted against a clean CR. Tell me the Republicans are responsible for the shutdown one more time.

I'll freakin' pull receipts man.

The funny thing is democrats struggle with numbers in the 100’s range.

There are 100 senators. It takes 60 votes. There’s not a lot of wiggle room here.

And they still can’t figure it out. It ******* stumps them.

Trump promised to drain the swamp, and Democrats have given him a prime opportunity to fulfill that promise.

How do the Democrats keep falling for these traps.

How many rakes can a party step on before they become wary of rakes?

I even used a nice Politico article, so there is some nice propaganda in there to keep the Democrats modified.

So you are basically proving the the republicans wanted the shutdown.

There are only two moves.

Democrats can either chose to end the shutdown by passing a clean CR... or they can chose to continue the Schumer Shutdown.
tRump shutdown part 2.

Or is it 3?

What does that look like? Do you even know? DOGE tried and failed..
It doesn’t have much effect on us. We can have 50% less government tomorrow and never even notice. We may have to hire a few people back and get rid of others but nobody is going to miss them. Delete entire agencies and nobody would miss a beat.

Facts are once again your nemesis.

Democrats filibustered a clean CR.

Schumer and the Democrats own this shutdown.

No amount of fact-challenged liberal bullshit is going to change that.

52 Republicans, and three Democrats voted for the clean CR to keep the government from shutting down. Five Democrats could end the shutdown tonight.

I love coming across 'politikal aktivist' randos on the In33rt00bz who haven't the first clue of what they are talking about. So refreshing.

A good tactician finds the best in any situation.

If Democrats are dumb enough to give you the opportunity, it would be a shame to waste it.

Republicans have the Democrats a clean CR. No changes in funding that hadn't been voted on.

And the Democrats yelled "charge!" and proceeded to shoot themselves right in the foot.

Bravo!

Democrats released a budget proposal that seeks to extend Affordable Care Act (ACA) subsidies before they expire at the end of the year. The plan, put forward by Connecticut Representative Rosa DeLauro and Washington Senator Patty Murray, also includes a reversal of Medicaid cuts made earlier this year.

The pair argues that if their proposal is not put in place, then ā€œ15 million Americansā€ will be kicked off their health care plans, because of the provisions made in Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which would see health care provisions expire in 2027, including for legal immigrants accessing ACA subsidies.

ā€œWhile Republicans push America to the brink of a shutdown, Democrats are ready to negotiate a bipartisan continuing resolution and government funding bills that lower the cost of living, help working people—not just billionaires—and protect people’s health care,ā€ DeLauro and Murray said in a joint statement.

The proposal does not include free healthcare for illegal immigrants.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said Monday that Republicans were misrepresenting the Democratic Party's position.

ā€œFederal law prohibits the expenditure of taxpayer dollars on providing healthcare to undocumented immigrants," Jeffries told reporters. "Nowhere have democrats suggested that we are interested in changing federal law."
