The only way a mask protects from covid is if it is worn at the same time as a plastic bag pulled over the head which is fitted tightly around the neck.

I will tell you this. Being a kidney patient I have been wearing a mask for 4 years. I have not been sick with a cold or flu in 4 years.. By the same token, my friend who paints faces, she never wears a mask and the sick kids sneeze on her. She has been very sick 3 times in the last 2 months.

Thank you Sloopy! I wear the paper mask, surgical type. I have heard the cloth masks dont block the viruses/germs as well.

While true, that is very misleading. Covid particles travel in exhaled droplets, not separately, and the size of the droplets is about the same as pollen particles (though there is a lot of variation of the sizes of both).
