If you are really pissed, your best hope for a vedict you might like, is a civilian court, with jury supposedly random selected of peers in the area where the trial is held. It would on average have education level high school through some college, maybe a professional or two. It would be unlikely they would come in the door knowing the reg by heart, and certainly not having sworn an oath to protecting the Constitution. A good Federal prosecutor (not that Trump Administration has had or at least used any), lately, might have a better chance swaying random civilians, like yourself, even after sitting through the testimony on the regulation itself and required training. Where all military officer's have had some level of training in resisting propaganda, so lawyer tricks of persuasion, simply do not fly as well.

Inversely in a civilian court, the defense can attempt to pull in Hegseth and cross him about his own similar statements.

Again I think this would go civil first as Kelly would likely argue he cannot be prosecuted while serving in Congress for this type of action.

Question not a criticism. As the pressure is coming from the military's upper management and the military controls their retirements, how would undue pressure on the Jury and court officers be avoided?

Members, not jurors. There would be no pressure, as it would be much harder to hide it, all involved would know, the sht storm if they got caught. At pay grade 06 and above (Kelly's rank or above, by regulation) more people like Holsey, than climbing hacks, and all with better retirement packages assured, already than civilian supervisor/management at their levels. Remember, you just saw a 4 star Admiral honorably resign, rather than serve Trump's political agenda. Most take the oath seriously.

Kelly was on full time duty as an officer. Officers definitely do not announce you should not follow orders, even calling them illegal or face discipline. Retiring officers still must obey the UCMJ which is different than the constitution. Retired officers still get paid by the Government.
BUT, I have strong doubts Kelley will be court martialed.
