Mark Cuban to Elizabeth Warren: “Screw Ypu”

I think Mr. Cuban is dead wrong ... Warren knows EXACTLY what the implications of her tax proposals would be if passed.
Her proposals would change behavior how billionaires would invest which could result in them keeping cash on the sidelines or investing outside the reach of US tax law. As is typical with Warren’s tax plans, they are rooted in class envy, demonize high income earners, and otherwise punish economic success.

And I submit she knows exactly that.

The US in the 1950s and 60s, had the highest tax rate ever at 90% for the wealthiest and that's when America experienced its golden age economically. It was 75% when Reagan became president and he lowered it to 39%.

What Warren said is true, for example, Starlink the global WIFI satellite network is heavily funded by the US government and yet Elon Musk is keeping all of the profits. Why shouldn't the American people own at least half of that company? Why should important space assets and other resources vital to our country's infrastructure remain in the hands of a few billionaires? Why should one man or family have so much power in our society and privately own resources that should be our commonwealth, owned collectively by all Americans? How are conservatives "patriotic" when they want to hand all of our nation's wealth, resources, and vital infrastructure to a few billionaires? That's not patriotic, that's just dumb and very dangerous.

It's not "her" idea, it's the idea of the sociopaths that fund her campaigns, and most all democrook sociopath campaigns for offices they should not ever be elected too.

Here you are again bed wetter... posting agitprop and inane talking points.

The last time you posted such stupid shit and got destroyed I figured you learned a lesson, but here you are again with the politics of hate and envy.

Why would these billionaires fund this lunatic's party, let alone her?

Create chaos and suffering, then ride in on your white horse as the savior.

It's what all Leftists do.

And with 1 in 4 democrats believing men can get pregnant now, it is obvious you can convince people of pretty much anything.

In your StarLink example, it is Musk that is assuming more risk than the Government, hence, why he should get more of the profits. The government benefits because it is infrastructure that the country can utilize.

What you describe in your scenario is failed Communism. Further, the government isn’t “handing over wealth” to a few billionaires. Again, you only see that in third world communism and socialism; a true, locked in, 1 percent.

Demogoguery. Brought about by the false notion we were ever supposed to be a democracy. By making voting a right and allowing so many ignorant people to vote, that is the result. The left create the misery, and point to the scapegoat (capitalism Brought about by white Christian males) and paint themselves as Robin Hoods.

The ignorant under the spell of mass propaganda and group think, march accordingly.

The results we see. We can't even agree on the most basic fundamental truth.

It's over

You are kidding, right? The United States kept the Fiat Currency under control until LBJ. Social Security was not pressured yet also. The Great Society, Teh Vit Nam War and the Moon Program cost money and bonds. Goosing growth in the 1960's with a massive hangover in the 1970's. The Social Programs mushroomed into the stratosphere in costs and payouts. Stagflation was making workers poorer. With wages not as high as inflation and with many tax brackets in the federal taxes were pushed into those brackets. So, the inflation and the more int axes paid were crushing workers. There was no inflation index before Reagan. The social programs kept growing and Reagan was promised that they would get them under control by the then Progs. They did not.

Between the late 1940s and the early 80s, we were the manufacturing base of the world, and American companies paid a living wage, with benefits. My grandfather worked for Bertram Yachts in Miami, Florida spraying yacht molds with fiberglass, full-time. In less than five years after arriving here from Cuba without a penny in his pocket, he purchased his first house in cash, without a mortgage loan. A household could have one breadwinner, and the mom could stay at home raising the children. All of that changed with supply-side economics (i.e. "Reaganomics").

Don't you have a communist dictator to go suck off instead of posting here?

What's Elon's "risk"? The American people are paying for much of the project, so you're not making any sense. Elon is a billionaire, it's the people who are risking more not him. Especially his employees, who risk their health and lives working for him with all of that heavy, dangerous machinery.

Our infrastructure should be in the hands of the American people, not the private sector. There is no "third world" socialism with a "1%", that only exists in your imagination. The third world is either under capitalism or economically sanctioned by the US for attempting to establish a socialist economy. Most dirt-poor nations on Earth have market-capitalist economies. You want to hand everything to the rich and powerful, but the American people are waking up.

We were a rising nation. Still filled with piss and vinegar. The real costs of everything were low for a roof over the head and food on the table with a tax rate that was low for peasants. The rest of the world was either 2nd or 3rd world or in ruins from WW 2. Within a decade after that, Europe and Japan became much more powerful. Our peak was the 1960's. We were still national infrastructure foundation oriented and then went to human foundation infrastructure.

Bullshit. If the project fails, am I as an individual taxpayer going to feel the loss more or is Musk? Right now, a greater risk to the American taxpayer are college students racking up $250,000 in egregious loans to major in worthless degrees for which there is no job market for them to pay their loans back.

We're now a collapsing service economy, unlike when we were the manufacturing hub of the world, with a robust infrastructure. Our infrastructure is also falling apart. We need to modernize our infrastructure and restore our manufacturing base, becoming independent of China.

If the project fails he's still a billionaire and the American people, collectively, lost billions of dollars. At the very least the American people should own half of Starlink and get half of the profits. I'm being generous. I believe the private sector does have a role to play in the economy, but after a project is completed the American people will either entirely own the assets or will form a partnership with private industry. You want to hand everything to a few billionaires and large private corporations. You can continue doing that in your head but the new generation isn't falling for it anymore. They're waking up.

All of those student loans should be immediately forgiven and public universities and community colleges should be tuition free. Education should be considered a human right in our society and it will. This younger generation is more socialist than ever and within the next twenty, thirty years at most, we're going to be living in a socialist America. The USSA:
