Marco Rubio gets standing ovation at Munich

You guys' mock true despots and what they did in comparing them to political enemies. May you and your families experience a real dictatorship it someday.
Rubio like most of those Cubans in Florida are the Sons and Daughters of Batista the fascist military Dictator that was the reason for the revolution in Cuba.

Assuming Trump remains in office much longer,
Why, is Trump going somewhere?

I think he prefers Marco to JD
Maybe. Keep in mind though that while Marco's job is out front, man of action, Sect. of State, in the public eye every day, JD's job is to stay in the background, kind of like a reserve pack to step in only in an emergency.

So we don't see these two guys in the public view the same way Trump might see them.

For instance, the Czech minister taking on Hillary Clinton. What was she doing in Munich?

Still trying to sell her book: 'What Really Happened' while chasing after her husband trying to catch which German floozie he is with now, knowing full well that most any of them are going to be a hell of a lot more fun to be with than her.

So much for the narrative that the US under the Trump Administration is a “laughing stock” of the world as the left would have us believe.

Great speech about the West and how we must stand together:

I’m liking this guy more than JD Vance for future President.

It would be a "great speech" if he and the rest of the world's leaders weren't allowing or actively promoting the invasion of Western nations by hostile "refugees." I'm sure from a Globalist's point of view ... it was a fantastic speech. Hail to the new Tower of Babel.

We Europeans are not children - you must be one to come up with such nonsense.

The USA has absolutely no right to hold Europe accountable - you must be from Disneyland were fantasy rules

Indeed - loads of Lefty/Lib's and Right-wingers - just like the USA.
Such a childish post

Europeans are whiny bitches

Just a reminder. Marco went to Europe and received a standing ovation from the US delegation while the Europeans sat on their hands in disgust. This thread was born out of a lie. Trump's international diplomacy is "America Alone". We will be paying for generations for his short sighted fat assery.

We have been America alone

Trumps diplomacy simply ask Europe to pay their fair share for their own defense

They hate it

Dems hate it cause it runs counter to the more flexible with Putin policies they run on

Europe depends on the US, kRUSKI. Make no mistake about that.
I really doubt they want to cozy up to China like you. :eusa_whistle:

No, but it is a win-win for everybody.
We don't need it all, we are getting our wins
and so is Latin America.
Latin America signed a free trade agreement with the EU, not the US. We had one with Canada and Mexico and Trump killed it.

Actually he created teh agreement....it's called the USMCA

It has to be reviewed every 6 years, we are in the process of doing that again, and hopefully get better terms.

It's disheartening that Canada has become increasingly leftist over the past 6 years though....the people there are suffering greatly under leftist leadership, and now it appears they are becoming puppets for the CCP.

15th post
Has it been nullified? Do you have a link to that?
Sounds more like posturing
Well if you're charging tariffs in contravention to the agreement, the agreement doesn't matter.

In early 2025, President Trump imposed 25% tariffs on most Canadian goods—later increasing to 35% on some—citing national emergency powers related to border security. These tariffs apply to steel, aluminum, and general imports, though energy resources saw lower 10% rates. Canada has retaliated, and in Feb 2026, the U.S. House voted to block these measures, though a veto is expected. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

Key Details on 2025-2026 Tariffs

  • Action Taken: Trump ordered 25% tariffs on Canadian goods in February 2025, which were increased to 35% in August 2025.
  • Cause: The administration cited illegal immigration and fentanyl flow, framing the tariffs as a national emergency under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA).
  • Scope: The tariffs initially covered most goods, with 10% rates on Canadian energy. Some exemptions were made for specific USMCA-compliant goods.
  • Retaliation: Canada responded with retaliatory tariffs, which the Canadian government began lifting in late 2025, according to Wikipedia.
  • Recent Developments: On Feb 11, 2026, the U.S. House of Representatives voted 219-211 to overturn these tariffs, but the measure requires Senate approval and faces a likely veto by President Trump, reports BBC.
  • Economic Impact: Reports indicate these tariffs are designed to last indefinitely and could cost Canada $100 billion, with significant inflationary pressure on U.S. consumers, according to PIIE. [1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9]
Potential 100% Tariff ThreatIn January 2026, Trump threatened 100% import taxes on Canadian goods in response to Canada's proposed trade deal with China, says Politico. [1, 10]

Nice cut and paste, but I don't see where the USMCA has been nullified, Zinc. :smoke:

I'm watching Rubio's speech as I write this.
Absolutely brilliant.
Along with JD Vance's speech a year ago, one of the two best foreign policy speeches I've ever heard.

Great speech I'm really glad that Rubio is part of the Trump Administration
Viktor Orban is a far right wing fascist who is so far up Putin's ass it's a wonder he can even breathe. And now we have Little Marco, a hack singing the praises of Orban who is with Putin who is responsible for the deaths of countless thousands of Ukraine civilians. Yea, the same Ukraine that Trump & his blowers like Mike Johnson abandonded.

That's our foreign policy under Trump, Rubio & his lackeys in Congress. Abandon our Allies while singing the praises of murderous dictators like Putin & giving thanks the fascists like Orban.

Grow a brain.
