Well, now for the facts, and please read them, they are pertinent!

1. Coyote is correct, as far as it goes. The bill did not address bans such as the one on China.

2. I ask all of you----------->did or did not the SC determine that it was the Presidents discretion to decide on enforcement of immigration policy?

3. Does or does not the constitution give you the right to bear arms?

Here is the deal---------------->The Democrats are not dumb; sneaky yes, dumb no! All they need is a law that resembles what they want to do, and they have it in court; after judge shopping of course. If you doubt me, how is it that the highest court in the land when Obama was President, proclaimed that it was only the PRESIDENT who determines immigration policy and enforcement, and yet it took almost 3 years under Trump for him to be able to exercise that which Obama was handed?

Same for guns in most large cities. They don't even pretend it is a clip issue, or an assault weapons ban zone, they just outright ban guns, or create so much red tape, you can't get one. Any time a new bill or law is put forth by Democrats that even sounds remotely reasonable, it is always used in the courts to do things that most Americans would find UNREASONABLE!

How do we know that Democrats do this, and how do we know that most Americans and legislators would find their actual usage of the bill as UNREASONABLE?

Well for the 1st question, the answer is the examples I have stated, along with many, many others.

For the 2nd question, the answer is also simple--------------->if what they tried to do was reasonable, they would just 1st pass a new bill that perfectly addresses the issue they are talking about, then send it to the Presidents desk and make him veto it, politically winning the argument, and then use the other bill to tie him/her up when all else fails.

They don't do that because it is a LOSER 99.9% of the time. In essence, they would be giving the President political capital by his/her doing the veto, and putting their names on the UNREASONABLE legislation to be brought back as they run for re-election. Let me ask you-------------->Democrats (many of them) just actually want to ban guns. Why not create a bill to try and alter the constitution, instead of going about it in the manner they do?

ANSWER--------> Because no politician is going to sponsor a bill like that, it is political suicide.

In closing, let me say that the bill in question in this thread, was an attempt to reign in the Presidents power, and tie him up in court, nothing more, nothing less.
