Not guilty of being a Russian nor colluding with one
Guilty of tax stuff over a decade ago when Trump had zero ideas of being President
What do his taxes have to do with The Trump Witch Hunt?

Nothing... that's why Mueller referred the case to the US district court for the eastern district of Virginia.

Oh so now the “we never said that” are starting up?

Since this trial is the most idiotic in history and nothing to do with The Donald, I and nobody else has followed it except fake news. Based on what I gather, the prosecution is claiming Manafort wanted to keep the money he earned in 2005. IMO, wanting to keep the money you earn is the right of every American citizen. If he intentionally violated the ridiculous US Federal Tax Code, then fine him and make him refile and pay the difference. That said why is a tax code violation worse than a violent crime in which murderers are free after the statute of limitations applies? Very sad. Witch hunter Mueller is probably having his FBI stooges remind the jury that an innocent verdict puts them in the same danger as Seth Rich faced.
Nothing to do with Trump. Manafort was Trump's campaign manager for 5 months, but still planned his inauguration.
And Manafort picked Pence.

Manafort was backchannel to Russia.

Bank fraud and tax avoidance is dealt in Virginia. If there is a link to Russia we have to wait for the Mueller investigation in the District of Columbia. Guy is in deep doodoo methinks

Obama2020, welcome to the site. Your avatar with Micheal is very funny. Quick question did you graduate from a college or university, if so, which is highly unlikely, where?

The collapse of the collusion narrative is getting worse

Hasn't this trial been separate from any possible collusion for pretty much the entire time?

Yep. For very good reasons. Trump is now facing a decision, does he pardon Manafort, commute his sentence or do nothing. The first two are politically dangerous, but if Manafort knows things and makes a deal, Trump could be in worse trouble.

We live in interesting times, it's time for the members of the Ostrich Party to keep their heads up.

Thanks for the welcome !
Your derogatory question is very Trump-like... So I'll make a Trump-like guess that you're calling the shots from a conservative location fed biased news by the Sinclair broadcast group or Fox.

I know there are about 18 charges, but will Manafort be generally found guilty or innocent - especially on the major charges?

ALEXANDRIA, Va. ― A prosecutor with Robert Mueller’s special counsel team labeled Paul Manafort a serial liar during closing arguments in the former Trump campaign manager’s trial for tax and bank fraud.

Describing Manafort as a capable, bright and “wildly successful” political consultant, prosecutor Greg Andres on Wednesday told jurors they’d seen “overwhelming” evidence of his guilt, and asked them to convict on all 18 counts.

“Mr. Manafort knew the law, and he violated it anyway,” Andres said.

“Ladies and gentlemen, the star witness in this case is the documents,” Andres said. Manafort, he said, is “not above the law.”

I asked you a question punk. Now answer it!

You already seem to know the answer. If I tell you, you'll brand it 'fake news'.
Who's the punk here now... I'm not on trial here. Manafort is :1peleas:

How is Manafort some great money laundering genius when the prosecutions top witness was a guy who admitted he stole millions from him?

I think Manafort has something on Trump and is expecting a pardon or else....
Good chance this might get fairly ugly.

I agree. If Manafort is found guilty, and Trump doesn't pardon him - Manafort has little choice but to flip or die in prison. However, flipping is only beneficial if he knows something Mueller wants.

Trump is sh!tting the silk drawers he sneaks when Melania isn't looking.

Probably guilty, but will get a soft ball sentence because the judge in this case ain’t in Miller’s pocket.

LOL How would anyone have an opinion if he's guilty or innocent unless they sat through the trial?
