Man comes to pick up son, is shot dead by stepfather. Justified?

I looked up the name and got this article and there is a clear video of the incident according to the article, so I do question if it was murder or not…

The ex-Husband was requested to leave the property and the ex-Husband still got into a verbal altercation and it look like a possible physical altercation after the boyfriend of the ex-wife fired a warning shot into the ground…

Grabbing for the gun was his biggest mistake on private property after being told to leave, so I hate to say it but the father got what he deserved.

The State will review it but I can’t see any charges brought…

I kind of agree with this.

Laws vary from state to state but I'd imagine that Texas law weighs heavily on the side of the homeowner.

The big guy should've left. If he would've, he'd still be alive.

Yeah, when the other guy shot into the ground and told him to leave the other guy should have raised his hands backed away slowly without saying a damn word…

I can’t see the owner being charged on this one but I have been wrong before…

Guy says "I'm going to take that gun and shoot you with it", then grabs for the gun.
Immediate threat, rreasonable fear.

Sad but true. RIP all those killed.

And happy day that the 1.2 million Americans each year have their private guns to stop rape, robbery, murder, beatings and stabbings................1.2 million times a year...

Can you tell which number is bigger? Can you tell how many more lives are saved by good, armed people?

That does not sound realistic.
