Not sure, but teaching is a profession where your personal life, if made public, can be a factor in your effectiveness. If he had a job where there was less public interaction, like a code monkey, or a stock trade runner, it wouldnt be an issue. Add in the whole kids thing, and I'm sure a portion of the parents would not be happy with this.

I voted "I don't know" because it really depends on the situation. Maybe the teacher found God and has completley changed and is 100% hetrosexual (if that's possible)! Maybe Bachmann's husband changed him?

We really can't can folks for our dislike of them. I have to say I don't like this at all, but unless he is romancing the students, there is no real problem.

Its not just porn as a side job that can affect your ability to teach. Imagine if someone who was a teacher was found out to be a furry (yiff in hell), or into BDSM in private, and that information became public.

Once out, things like that become a distraction, elimintating you effectiveness to teach, be it because the kids are all giggling, or some yuppie scum parents are in the principal's office demanding your head on a platter.

If you want to teach, its best to avoid extra curricular activities that people can disapprove of.

I would like to say no but at the same time teaching kids is not a regular job, if its out there that he was in gay porn and all the kids in his class and parents know it will make his job 100 times harder than it has to be, he will probably just quit on his own anyways.
