Comey? The guy that announced to the world that he was reopening the Clinton email probe two weeks before the 2016 election, arguably handing that election to Trump, cementing the acceptability of gutter politics, leading to exactly where we are now? That Comey? He should be getting the royal treatment from Trump, not a lawsuit.

I suspect the angle used by MSNBC is fake us out. Notice when the news uses unnamed sources, it can't be verified and this error was made by MSNBC. Also it left a wiggle clause by saying IF it happens.

Really? Which convictions have not been overturned, and how did Trump's hand picked nominee fail to find evidence to charge the prosecutor Trump sicked him on? Maybe he will have better luck, with his new "personal" lawyer, if he can find one that knows how to look up, statutes of limitations in Federal Law. For most of us, it only takes 3 seconds with a simple search argument.:auiqs.jpg:

47 wanted Comey to drop the investigation to Russian Interference in 2016 Election and Comey knew he could not. Proving Comey to Congress will impossible, the statute of limitations well past.
 
This case will go nowhere. Trump made sure of that when he posted he wanted Bondi to go after his political enemies, including Comey.

At any rate, I have no use for Comey. Comey is the reason Trump was elected in 2016. Trump should be kissing Comey’s ass.

Former FBI Director Comey expected to be indicted soon in Virginia federal court: MSNBC​



  • Former FBI Director James Comey is expected to be indicted on criminal charges in the coming days in federal court in Virginia, MSNBC reported.
  • The expected indictment comes on the heels of a top prosecutor resigning under pressure after opposing the filing of charges against Comey, who for years has been a target of President Donald Trump’s ire.
MSNBC reporter Ken Dilanian, in a post on X, wrote Wednesday, “The full extent of the charges being prepared against Comey is unclear.”

“But the sources believe that at least one element of the indictment — if it goes forward — will accuse him of lying to Congress during his testimony on September 30, 2020 about whether he authorized a leak of information,” Dilanian tweeted.




Comey, that day under questioning by Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, stood by his prior testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee that he did not, as FBI director, authorize a leak of information to The Wall Street Journal for an October 2016 article.
