Just an FYI, my DiL is a hard-core Boston liberal. She's not really welcome in the house. But because of my Son, I tolerate her. Barely. My Boy is a firm Trump supporter. They get by, by just not talking politics. Whatever works. Their son just got a Scholarship offer to Harvard. Not a great one, however. He got a better offer from Holy Cross.

Just so you know, we're not talking Trailer Trash. Not bragging. Just some Bona Fides.

I think you'll find that avoiding those types leads to a lot less drama in your life anyway.
