That is the issue with a Representative Republic; what they represent is simply not supported by a majority.

The current Republican leadership is steering the country off the cliff: $38T in debt, $1.8T deficit, the Fed has to buy $40B A MONTH in US Treasuries to keep the system propped up....but Thomas Massie is the problem??!!

We have a POTUS who has completely fucked up priorities and not by accident. I thought because he was "independently" wealthy who would be free of the swamp. The people that own the swamp own Trump too.
