MAGA and die hard Trump supporters..... The difference

I think Trump is going to try to keep China out of the Americas.
China's "belt and roads" program gets their foot in the door.
I'm waiting for Trump to take Panama back, and get Maduro out of Venezuela.

That all shouldn't come before getting prices down and getting our cities secure.

Getting prices down will take time. We need to deport more illegals, reducing "demand" is probably the fastest way.
Importing beef might help. I don't know how to reduce lumber prices so housing can start up again.
Affordability is a complex problem.
Fixing our cities is easier, except in blue cities and states, DC worked well.

We spend way too much on the military, and we seriously need to address the scam that is insurance and healthcare. It is immoral that Americans spend so much on healthcare.

Those are all tough problems, but you are correct. The question is "how do we lower costs"?
One option is to regulate healthcare insurance companies like utilities so they don't overcharge.
We have many doctors in congress, they should come up with a solution.

Problem is expecting anything big out of these politicians, who appeal to their donors rather than the people that elected them.

No. The regulatory regime is why we're in this mess. We need to de-regulate. Legalize health care and let the market work.

So, would you prefer that the "conservatives" be more aggressive in taking on the Democrat Party?

Of course. Instead of all this caving the RINO's are doing now.

FFS, the democrats can have a small majority, and shove all sort of crap down our throats. These RINO's give the democrats everything except the kitchen sink, even when they have the trifecta.

Either the GOP is weak. Or they are just as much big spending, big government as the democrats are.

Either way, they're quickly becoming useless as an opposition party to the left.

Conservatives are now cast as Neocons.

Your definition is what we call Populists, the Trump agenda.

I think you're still confusing "conservatives."

What ever Trump is, he's got 95% of the GOP in lock step behind him. And they're spending more than Biden. And even started digging the socialism hole deeper.

11 months into this presidency, and they're still passing CR's? And Republican voters still support that?

Geezus. I'm glad the neocons got taken over. They were horrible. But these RINO's aren't doing any better.

Our leaders are too focused on tribal politics and culture war issues, rather than the main concerns of everyday people.

Agreed on that, though I am not so fond of the BBB to a point, since it was an awful lot of spending in that bill.

This is one big thing that keeps us from being a constitutional republic anymore. Our congress is either following bad orders from Trump (IE block or stall the Epstein issue, pass a BBB). Or they're representing the lobbyist more than their voters.

Congressmen still can't offer amendments on the house floor, before the amendments have been approved in committee first.
Committee's are code for "lobbyist approval."

Too much foreign interference in our elections. We both know who the most responsible party is for that.

Panama and Venezuela are none of our business.

And Trump is supporting something like 600,000 Chinese H1B's because he says America doesn't have talent.

Our own media sucks and influences our elections.
The RNC & DNC pays our media to do this, just so the two party system can never get any competition.

It's like this:

I'm not disagreeing with you at all.
But if you think this GOP is weak, you should have seen it 20-30 years ago.
I think former Speaker Paul Ryan had a tattoo: "Born To Compromise".

Ryan wasn't any better or worse than McCarthy or Johnson. They all sucked. So did Boehner.
The last decent one we had was Gingrich.

Actually no. We have Neocons and Populists. Conservatism is a lie, always has been.
What ever Trump is, he's got 95% of the GOP in lock step behind him. And they're spending more than Biden. And even started digging the socialism hole deeper.
Trump's BBB cut $1.5T off Biden's 2025 Budget. There is no socialism hole, just an ACA unaffordability problem to deal with.
11 months into this presidency, and they're still passing CR's? And Republican voters still support that?
They passed 8 Appropriations Bills so far, and passed a CR thru January. If there was no shutdown the CR would have ended at the end of November. Republican voters reject everything the democrats stand for.

Your "RINOs" (actually Populists) win elections. Your "faux Conservatives" lose elections.

Yes it is our business when China is taking them over.

I agree with you on that, but I think Xi has Trump by the gonads over rare earth metals.
