Bill isn't stupid, and this didn't seem like an off the cuff remark, so I'm wondering if this is just the first salvo in seeing whether or not people want to talk about reforming Obamacare as an election topic or beyond.

The end goal has always been single payer. I doubt the dems want to inject that conversation into the election, but seeing whether or not people by and large agree to this statement by Bill is an interesting question. If the response is positive she can become the champion of reform and if it isn't Hillary herself didn't say it and can then just deny she agrees.

everything they do is choreographed, and, as indicated, this didn't seem like a chance comment, so there was a purpose here, IMO.
