which is almost certainly true, but the source, Ms. Sanchez, has been a lifelong climber of the Affirmative Action bus all throughout her career,

If you read the whole story, about halfway down the article, Sanchez says that she didn't mean to imply racial bias, but rather Obama's endorsement of her rival was because of a long political friendship.
