Fool yourself if you wish. Trump wants nothing to with him. Any Trump action against Comey can lead to civil suit by the leader and put Trump under sworn deposition, which he can't afford to do. Comey is fine.

You must have missed Thursday...when comey stated that he told Trump on 3 different occasions that he was not the target of an investigation...and pointed to the fact that Flynn isn't a target in the Russia probe...he is a target for misleading statements in his interviews with the FBI and on his paperwork.....comey also told everyone that Trump told him to go after anyone in Trump's circle who may have broken the law......
