Local ordinance irony.

Boy you sure are angry about a little snow removal. Just hire out. Its not complicated. Why are you upset over nothing? Why bring SS into this?
Did I hit a nerve? LOL, where did you get the idea I'm worried about a bit of snow removal. I take care of my own and my neighbor's---AND I DON'T GO BEGGING, HAT IN HAND for $60/hour. You should be ashamed of yourself. Most people of your generation were raised with better morals.

Find a high school kid and pay him or her $30 a time. Cheap job.

What a complete load of garbage. I hire out. I pay $60 per time. If that angers you then great. Awesome. Its not your business and you are angry about nothing. Stay angry.

Lying again. I can't do a full plow on my place in less than 3 hours. By your estimates that would by $180. BTW, your nursing home covers those costs so you don't have to worry about the ambulance getting to you.

I dont beg, i pay what is the going rate. If i dont want to pay that cheap rate i shovel myself. Why are you upset about this non issue?

Well maybe you live where it costs less. So then investigate. Its bizarre to be upset about something so trivial. Or downsize. But to get mad at someone about it seems childish. I hope you solve the issue.

I paid into my SS for over 40 years. You have a problem with me collecting?

I do my own, moron. Don't you read? Rhetorical, your responses are proof that you don't.
I hope you solve the issue.
I'm self-sufficient, init. I have no issue. LOL, I don't have to pay someone to clean my nether regions.

Again, you're reading things into what you do read that aren't there. I said, I was thankful that SS wouldn't be paying for your nursing home much longer. I know you have problems with facts, but thats a fact and you won't be a drag on it anymore.

I live in my own house. Sorry to say. You are way off base here. Do you consider senior citizens a drag? If so, why? And what is bad about paying someone to plow my snow? Whats your issue there? I spend one forth of one SS during the winter to kerp things clear. Good deal.

You can't keep your lies straight from one post to another. Run along--it's time to get down to the dining room.

What lies? Wow you are really angry about something. Chill out. As if $60 per hour is worth arguing about. Thats chump chane.

Property owners must have their sidewalks cleared of snow and ice by noon of the day following a snow or ice storm.

This is so that...

local fu(ks can take the property of elderly, just hanging in there, "I'll break a hip" folks away from said elderly with fees, fines and such so the municipality can drive them out and gentrify the neighborhood. Follow the money.

the very people that stomped the snow into an impossible to remove layer of ice in the first place won't slip as they repeatedly trod over the sidewalk.

It's winter, snow and ice happens but then such is the litigious society the liberal has pursued.

I'm from the north and one thing I understand in such circumstances is not fu(kin walk on snow and ice with your hands in your pockets so that when you DO bust your azz you can catch yourself.

Or...

Put your smart device in your pocket when walking on such and have some mutha fu(kin situational awareness.

Or...

Stupid fu(kin liberals wear your helmet sos that when you are glued to your latest TDS notification and DO bust your azz you'll only be knocked out instead of dead. Also remember your name tag so the EMT's know who to call. My significant other's number...: Their pronouns are they/them/confusified, please to respect their identity while calling for medical help.

-

Morale of the story: I can turn anything into why liberals su(k but then that's low hanging fruit.

I'll stop now.

Still, you are responsible for folks tripping over an alligator on your property.

I always shoveled my sidewalk. I saw that as my "neighborly" thing to do. If everyone did (and helped out those who can't).....no issue.

When people take on the attitude "not my job", then you have less of a community. Hurts no-one but the community.
No sidewalk, no problem. ;)

It's bad enough, due to the way my street is, that the plow driver has to send the majority of the snow in the street over on my side of the street.

If we get 6" of snow I'll have at least 2.50' piled up at my driveway entrances and that's why I have a 4X4 Four-wheeler with a plow to bust through and move it.

I prefer to use the snowblower on the driveways as it will do a better job than the plow. We have southern exposure so when the sun comes out it melts the remnants quickly.

BTW....I made the mistake one year of moving all the snow in front of the house in case we had visitors.....The "community" decided that they were gonna park there instead of their snowed-in homes....I never did it again.

Snow and cold are more attractive as one ages.
