Liz Warren Claims She's More Qualified To Be Sec of Def Because She Has Two Brothers That Served

Yes, it is.

My problem with Hegseth isn't his service or how many medals he got in the MNARNG.

My problem is that the man simply doesn't have the administrative skills to manage a 700-billion-dollar agency.

In fact, the only administrative skills that he had was running something called MN PAC, which failed miserably and had some serious financial irregularities.
So you learned all of this working as a supply NCO?

Pete graduated from some prestigious schools.
And since he was a major he's been thru all of the administrative and leadership schools needed.

But he hasn't tapped into the Swamp like most generals.
He's a bit of an outsider, which is perfect when you need to fire a bunch of worthless generals.

Bronze stars aren’t merit badges. They’re given for, uh, merit.

A lot of them, it turns out.
Bronze Stars are basically an ARCOM during combat.

A Silver Star is a bit harder to get, but you don't have to practically die to get one.

It helps if you're a general. They live and die by their awards and decorations.

I think you might want to look at his record before you make any assumptions.

He's not a perfumed officer like LtCol Vindman.

Hegsteth has a lot of infantry background, which is essential for military tactics.

But the number one reason Trump picked Pete was because he's not already in the loop of the Swamp.

They haven't gotten to him yet.
Not only is he not a swamp creature, but he is hardly a 'screaming maniac' either. And he has probably studied more on the military situations around the world than any of his critics. No good leader ever assumes he/she knows everything he/she needs to know to do a job. A good leader consults those with more experience and knowledge and considers all the probable and possible angles before making important decisions.

Hegseth is untried as a government leader, but like Trump, he could turn out to be excellent in the job. His heart and motives seem to be very solid. He deserves a chance.

They have PAC clerks and aides that work under all of them. They do all of the paperwork and scheduling. Hegseth would just be the one making decisions and swinging the axe.

A plan to end the war is not an end of the war.

You’re delusional and denigrated the service of the thousands of soldiers at war in Afghanistan when Trump left office.
Finally, it took dembots years to finally acknowledge that it was Harris and Xiden that surrendered to the terrorist, not trump

Glad you finally admit that

You know who didn't get one? Tampon "Stolen Valor" Timmy...the guy you voted to be VP

Dumbass couldn't even load a shotgun. It's probably good he was never in combat

He had 4 years to leave Afghanistan. He couldn’t do it because he’s incompetent.

Your excuses are weak.
Any moron could have pulled out Afghanistan without fully thinking through the aftermath. Case in point, Biden did it and we saw the results. IF Democrats weren't so stupid, they would recognize this.

The challenge will be to identify and neutralize/eliminate those clerks and aides who are working for the deep state instead of for the American people, i.e. those who will deliberately sabotage the MAGA vision for the military, etc. And I guarantee you those people exist.

It's cute when you guys all act like dope-smoking hippies because last term, the Pentagon kept Trump from doing anything really stupid.

I doubt we'll be that luck this time.
You mean something really stupid like haphazardly pulling out of Afghanistan? Stupid like that?

You can usually figure out who they are pretty quickly.

Get em drunk once and they'll tell you.

Hegseth is going to ask around and put out feelers.

He'll find the traitors. That's why he was nominated.

He already has everything from a ground-pounder's perspective.

Where are his administrative skills?

He ran one pac that went out of operation due to his financial mismanagement.

So let's put him in charge of a 800 Billion Dollar agency!
You mean like electng a community organizer for president?

I've had a lot of experience with specific firearms. But if I've never put my hands on a new weapon I'd look that way too.

You need to spend time learning how to load and take apart a weapon before you can say you're proficient with it.

And he didn't know that gun all that much.

Are you saying Trump was never gonna to pull out of Afghanistan?

I would tend to agree. His Sec Def said as much.

I'm saying he wanted to pull out in the right way. As usual, Biden didn't think things through and his minions don't care. Democrats are one step thinkers at best.

Apparently he never figured out how to do it “the right way” because he didn’t pull out.
