I think that if we had the draft, the war would be over fast. I think that very few voters are really willing to have their of-age children take the chance of being sent to Iraq.

Especially because we're not asking our servicemen to put their lives on the line to defend our country. We're asking them to put their lives on the line to bring "democracy" to an insignificant country that most people don't know much about outside of the first Gulf War.
