We think that cardiac symptoms are coming through bloodsuckers like ticks. This much cannot be denied: civets groom themselves and eat the ticks they remove from their bodies, thus ingesting their own blood. It's patently absurd to deny a tick never ingested SARS-CoV. This is the first and foremost intermediate host of the virus. What happens to the virus inside the tick? What has Homo sapiens done to address this fact of civet (and possibly raccoon dog) ingestion?
